Public Works Director Appointment
The Department of Human Resources requests the Board to appoint Christopher Blunk as the director of Public Works. Blunk has been the interim director of the department since December 2024, and prior to that, served as assistant director.
Golden Gate Village TEFRA Hearing
The Board will conduct a Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act hearing to gather public comments on the proposed issuance of up to $50 million in tax-exempt bonds. These bonds are intended to finance the initial phase of the Golden Gate Village revitalization project in Marin City.
The project, a collaboration between the Marin Housing Authority and Burbank Housing, will address much-needed repairs, modernization, and upgrades to ensure the long-term habitability of Golden Gate Village. This site encompasses approximately 30 acres and includes eight high-rise buildings with 168 units, as well as 20 low-rise buildings with 128 units. The County of Marin is not issuing these bonds and will not bear any financial liability.
