CHP Hunts for Driver Who Might've Caused Crash
Two cars and one motorcycle were involved in a wreck Sunday on southbound 101 north of Novato, and witnesses said another driver cut off the motorcyclists and fled.

Two people on a motorcycle were hospitalized Sunday afternoon after a three-vehicle collision on southbound Highway 101 between Novato and Petaluma, sources said.
The two injured people were a man and a woman who were on a 2000 Yamaha XVS 1100 that lost control and hit the pavement near San Antonio Road at about 4:39 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol officer Ralph Caggiano. The injuries were minor and both were taken to Novato Community Hospital by a crew from the , said Captain Scott Freedman.
Caggiano said CHP officers were attempting to locate a driver who might have caused the collision and then sped off. After talking to witnesses, including the motorcycle riders, investigators said they were looking for a woman with black hair who was driving a black or dark-colored Honda Accord.

Both southbound lanes were shut down for 10 to 15 minutes just north of the Silveira Ranch, causing slow traffic in Petaluma.
