Coroner Identifies Man Who Died in Tuesday Crash
Israel Scott Reyna, 43, of Petaluma was killed when his truck slammed into a power pole about a half mile north of the Atherton Avenue exit on Highway 101.
The Marin County Sheriff/Coroner's Office has identified Israel Scott Reyna, 43, of Petaluma as the man who was killed in a solo crash early Tuesday morning on Highway 101 just north of Novato.
Assistant Chief Deputy Coroner Lt. Keith Boyd said the investigation into the cause of death is ongoing. CHP Officer Eric Hohmeister said the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing as well. He said there are no known witnesses to the crash, and it is assumed that Reyna was heading home.
Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash, Hohmeister said.
