Highway Lane Closures Announced For Maintenance In Marin County
Lanes will be closed for different construction projects during the day and night at different times.

NOVATO, CA — Lanes on a highway in Novato will be closed at different times until Friday for maintenance.
Caltrans has scheduled lane closures on westbound and eastbound State Route 37 in between Atherton Avenue and the Petaluma River Bridge for concrete barrier transition work.
An eastbound lane on SR-37 will be closed from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day from Monday through Friday, Sept. 19.

The westbound lane will be closed 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day from Monday through Friday, Sept. 19.
From 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday, there is work scheduled for road stabilization on eastbound SR-37 between Novato Creek and Atherton Avenue.

All construction is weather dependent.
The project involves median barrier and paving. The project will grind and repave the roadway between the Ignacio overhead to the Petaluma River Bridge, which is about a 3-mile stretch.
