Lost Hiker Rescued In Novato
Novato officers and firefighters worked with the Sonoma County Sheriff to quickly reach a lost hiker Wednesday evening.
NOVATO, CA — First responders worked from the ground and air Wednesday to evacuate a lost hiker from a trail in the Ignacio Valley Preserve.
Teams from the Novato police and fire departments worked with the Sonoma County Sheriff to respond to Thunderbird Court shortly before 5 p.m., with a helicopter in the air to assist in locating the person.
According to police, rescue teams successfully found the lost hiker roughly 30 minutes later.
