Man Shot In The Head In Marin County, New Details Emerge: Police
Masked men threatened people downtown, demanding money and gang affiliation.
NOVATO, CA — Police have shared more details in a Novato shooting from Monday that sent one person to the hospital.
At around 9:15 p.m., Novato Police Department dispatchers said they received calls about a shooting on Third Street near Grant Avenue.
Police said two masked men wearing all black confronted three men in downtown Novato. The suspects reportedly brandished knives and guns, demanding money and asking the victims' gang affiliation.

The victims attempted to run away but one of them was grazed in the head by gunfire. He was later transported to the hospital to treat his non life-threatening wound, police said.
"The other victims were shaken but unharmed," police said.

The suspects were described as in their early 20s, dressed in all black and one of them was wearing a red cross-body bag, police said.
No arrests have been made at the time of publication.
