Marin Sheriff Hosts Community Feedback Meetings

NOVATO, CA — Marin County residents will have a few chances next week to share their thoughts with the sheriff's office as officials work with a consulting firm to analyze their performance. Four events are on the calendar next week in Novato, Point Reyes, Kentfield and Marin City.

"Over the past year, the Marin County Sheriff's Office has been working with a consulting company to analyze, evaluate, and report on our staffing and resources deployment across the organization, including all sworn staff, professional staff and administrative staff members," the sheriff's office wrote Thursday. "This assessment will not be complete without feedback from the public, so please join us at one of these events and share your thoughts and opinions."

According to the sheriff's office, Meliora Public Safety Consulting will incorporate community feedback as it puts together an overview of the department's performance and identifies areas where expectations are being met and those that can be improved.
