The seven-member commission will include four members who are Novato residents and an additional member who may either work in the city or live in one of its unincorporated communities, along with two Novato Unified School District-enrolled student members.

The commission was established last month, following the city’s late 2020 declaration of a climate emergency, The Marin Independent Journal reports.
