Novato Burglary Suspect Arrested After Search: Cops
A witness report led to the suspect's arrest, police said.
NOVATO, CA — A Marin burglary suspect was arrested Friday evening, the Novato Police Department said.
Allen David Morgan, 48, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property and booked at the Marin County Jail, police said.
Officers at around 6:30 p.m. Friday responded to the report of a burglary in progress at a commercial building in the 100 block of Roblar Drive, police said.

The witness had reported that a man was seen hopping a fence and stealing items from storage buildings on the property, and that he was still in the area, hiding nearby in the bushes.
Officers detained Morgan near the end of Pamaron Way after conducting an extensive search, police said.

Officers determined that a second business (on Commercial Blvd) was also burglarized and found Morgan in possession of property that was stolen from both locations.
