Novato DUI Checkpoint Nets 1 Arrest, 12 Citations

NOVATO, CA – A Novato DUI checkpoint over the weekend resulted in one arrest and 12 citations, police said.
The checkpoint was held Friday at the intersection of Rowland Boulevard and Leafwood Drive.

One person was arrested on suspicion of DUI and transportation of a controlled substance for sale and 12 others were cited for driving without a license.
Funding for the checkpoint was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
