Novato Holiday Toy Drive Kicks Off For The Season
Neighbors can pick up Angel Tree Tags from the police department lobby and pick out gifts for children in need for the next couple of weeks.
NOVATO, CA — The Novato Police Department is teaming up with the Salvation Army San Rafael for a holiday toy drive, and residents will have a chance to help ensure children in need have a little something under the tree this year.
The Angel Tree program helps collect and distribute gifts to families each holiday season, and participating is easy. Neighbors can visit the Novato Police Department during business hours and grab a tag or two right off the Christmas tree in the lobby.
Each tag has a child's name, age, and wishlist to help guide shoppers on their mission. Unwrapped gifts should be returned to the station by Dec. 11 and will go on to be delivered directly to the Salvation Army on Dec. 15.
