Novato Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Preteen He Met Online
Investigators allege the 20-year-old man initiated contact with a 12-year-old over social media and later met the victim at a local park.
NOVATO, CA — A Novato man is accused of multiple sex crimes after police allege he sexually assaulted a preteen he met on social media.
According to police, the family of a 12-year-old contacted authorities to report their child was "in a relationship" with a 20-year-old man. Investigators quickly identified the suspect as Kevin Danillo Sajche-Tecum. Police allege Sajche-Tecum initiated contact on social media and set up a meeting at the park, then sexually assaulted the victim.
Detectives visited his home on Green Oak Drive on Tuesday afternoon and placed him under arrest. Police allege a search of Sajche-Tecum's phone also revealed child sexual abuse material.

He was taken to the Marin County Jail and booked on suspicion of multiple crimes, including lewd acts with a child under 14, soliciting a minor with intent to commit sex acts, possession of child pornography and violating probation.
According to jail records, Sajche-Tecum remained jailed Wednesday in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
