Police Issue Shelter In Place Late At Night In Marin County

NOVATO, CA —Police issued a shelter in place midnight on Tuesday in the Hamilton Field area of Novato to assist the California Highway patrol, police said.

At midnight, the Novato Police Department sent out a shelter in place alert in the area of Maingate Road and Martin Drive in Novato due to police activity, police said.

At 12:43 a.m., police lifted the shelter in place and said they were assisting CHP in an investigation and to report suspicious activity in the area.
