Power Outage Strikes Parts of Novato

A power outage interrupted evening plans for several hundred Novato residents on Tuesday night.

Pacific Gas and Electric Co. reported that up to 317 customers lost service entirely or had a brownout at 7:11 p.m.

There was no information from PG&E about what caused the outage or which neighborhoods were most affected. Some service was restored at about 8:30 p.m., but the PG&E website mentioned that full service was expected to be restored at 9:45 p.m.
