Street Paving Expected To Cause Traffic Delays In Marin County

The city is advising residents to plan ahead for traffic delays if traveling in this area.

NOVATO, CA — The annual street paving project will continue through Sept. 19 in Novato, causing up to 30 minute delays for travelers.

Novato's Annual Street Paving Project is focussing on Indian Valley Road Chamberlain Avenue to Pacheco Avenue and is expected to continue 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday through Sept. 19.

The city said traffic delays could be up to 30 minutes and advise resident to plan ahead when driving in this area.

"All work is tentative and subject to change. Emergency vehicles will be accommodated at all times," officials said. "We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to improve Novato’s streets."
