Tribute To Honor Beloved Councilmember Who Died Announced In Novato
The City announced Monday that the councilmember had died.

NOVATO, CA — After the recent death of a Novato city councilmember, the City announced on Wednesday that they will hold a tribute to honor his life.
"Serving alongside Mark Milberg was truly an honor," said Mayor Tim O’Connor. "Mark led with heart, extended warmth and friendship to all, and devoted himself tirelessly to the betterment of our city. His dedication and love for Novato were evident in every decision he made, every event he attended, and every life he touched. This gathering provides an opportunity for our community to come together in gratitude and remembrance of Mark’s guidance, wisdom and service."
The City announced late Monday evening that councilmember Mark Milberg had died.

Novato will host a tribute for Milberg from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 24 at City Hall, located at 901 Sherman Ave.
The City announced that those wishing to honor Milberg's memory can make donations to organizations especially meaningful to him such as Congregation Rodef Sholom, North Bay Children’s Center and Homeward Bound of Marin.

While this gathering is open to the public, the funeral will be private.
