NOVATO, CA — The police will shut down roads for the San Marin High School Homecoming Parade Thursday in Novato.

Starting at 3 p.m., the Novato Police Department will close Grant Avenue between Machin Avenue and Reichert Avenue.

"Intermittent road closures may take place when necessary for participant safety and will be immediately opened back up once the roadway is clear of parade participants. This will help alleviate traffic congestion, grid lock and keep traffic flow disruptions to a minimum," police said.
