A 19-year-old Alameda County woman was arrested Sunday on suspicion of possessing a stolen vehicle, police said.
NOVATO, CA — A vehicle reported stolen out of Southern California on Saturday was recovered the next day in Novato, police said.

Officers at around 4:45 p.m. on Sunday spotted the Honda sedan reported stolen from Ventura County while they were parked near the Rowland Boulevard Taco Bell, according to police.

Officers conducted a traffic stop and detained two female occupants of the vehicle, police said.

Officers arrested the driver and released the passenger, police said.
“We are thankful for the safe and coordinated efforts of our officers to recover this stolen vehicle,” the NPD said in a statement.
“We greatly appreciate the patience of our community while we conducted this investigation.”
