Ex-Oceanside City Employee Behind Bars for Alleged Child Molestation

The former Neighborhood Services Division Manager for Oceanside is in jail in on a felony child molestation charge.

OCEANSIDE, CA - A former Oceanside city employee is in jail in San Bernardino County facing a felony child molestation charge, officials confirmed.

David Manley, who was serving as Neighborhood Services Division Manager, was arrested at John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana on Sept. 29 by deputies with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, according to reports.

Manley resigned his position with the city shortly after the arrest.

According to court records, Manley and another man were charge with committing a felony lewd and lascivious act upon a child under the age of 14 over a two year period from March 2008 to March 2010.

Manley pleaded not guilty during an arraignment held in late September.
