Patch and T-Mobile have partnered to highlight young people achieving great things in our community.

The future of Oceanside-Camp Pendleton is looking bright, thanks to the incredible young people working to strengthen our community. In partnership with T-Mobile, Patch is proud to spotlight future leaders like George Zakhary, who are making a positive impact in and around Oceanside-Camp Pendleton.
George, a student at Southern California Health Sciences University (SCU), is a rising leader in sports chiropractic care. In November, he earned the 2024 Professional Baseball Chiropractic Society (PBCS) sports chiropractic scholarship, an honor recognizing his commitment to advancing nonpharmacological pain therapies and rehabilitative techniques for athletes. George has gained extensive hands-on experience during his clinical rotations, including working with active-duty Marines at Camp Pendleton and professional soccer players with Miami FC, where he honed his skills in injury management, performance optimization and patient-centered care.
Beyond clinical practice, George has presented research on non-drug pain management strategies at high-profile conferences and is pursuing certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) to further serve athletes. He envisions a career at the intersection of chiropractic care and professional athletics, aiming to work with elite teams and eventually open his own practice.
