The expenses that made up the biggest differences in the cost of living between Oceanside and San Diego were Housing and Transportation.

The news is not as good when comparing Oceanside to the national cost of living average score of 100. The Oceanside average score is 143.8, but still far lower than the San Diego national comparison score of 160.1. A score above 100 means more expensive.

Health expenses for Oceanside were the only expense that was listed at below the national average with a score of 89.
