Oceanside Ranks Among Top 10 Healthiest Cities In California

How healthy is Oceanside compared to other cities across America? Which health factors raised or lowered the overall score? WalletHub study.

OCEANSIDE, CA — Does where you live impact your health? According to a recent study from WalletHub, it can make a big difference. From access to health care and fresh food to available parks and fitness centers, how did Oceanside compare to other cities?

The study compared more than 180 of the most populated U.S. cities across 43 key indicators of good health. San Francisco, CA took the #1 rank in the country, while Brownsville, TX came in last place at #182.

The overall rank for Oceanside was #9 in California and #34 in the U.S. The highest rank for Oceanside was in the category of Fitness, with only Irvine and Huntington Beach ranking higher in California.

Surprisingly, Oceanside scored a low rank of #101 in Green Space. While Oceanside may not have as much green space as higher-ranking cities, there are miles of beaches and open ocean to pursue healthy activities.
