OCEANSIDE, CA — Oceanside Theatre Company and New Village Arts are giving art lovers a sneak peek at exploring “happily ever after” during Oceanside’s First Friday Art Walk.

The "Do You Believe in Happily Ever After?" exhibition by members of the Sargent Art Group is presented in visual partnership with the OTC and NVA co-production of Stephen Sondheim’s musical "Into the Woods". Curator Carol Naegele explains her unique approach to an art gallery inside a theater. “The Gallery’s visual art is selected to explore and interpret the mood and themes of what is performed on stage. The performance on stage brings movement and dimension to the art hanging on the walls. It’s exciting for both art lovers and theatergoers!”

The First Friday Art Walk will also include an Artist reception at 6:30 pm. The artist reception is a free opportunity to meet and chat with the exhibiting artists and to see their interpretation of every fairytale’s famous ending. Light refreshments will be served.
