Simone Biles' 'Gold Over America Tour' Adds Second Date In San Diego Area

The Gold Over America Tour starring Simone Biles kicks off at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside.​ A second date has been added due to demand.

OCEANSIDE, CA — Frontwave Arena, a new multipurpose sports and entertainment venue in Oceanside, has added a second date for the Gold Over America Tour starring Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles.

Due to overwhelming demand, the tour will now kick off Sept. 16 at the 7,500-capacity arena, Frontwave Arena announced Wednesday. The new date will serve as the new venue's opening event. The tour will also be at the arena on Sept. 17.

The Athleta Presents Gold Over America Tour, or GOAT, will star Biles, the most decorated gymnast in history. The event will also showcase the athletic brilliance and championship journeys of other gymnasts, including Olympic gold medalists Jade Carey and Jordan Chiles.

The tour will visit 30 U.S. arenas this fall.

Frontwave Arena is located at 3475 Hero Drive in Oceanside.
