Huntington Beach Man Identified In Hit-And-Run Car Crash
The crash was reported early Saturday morning on the 91 Freeway in the Compton area, California Highway Patrol said.
COMPTON, CA — Authorities Monday identified a motorist involved in a hit-and-run crash in which he and his female passenger were killed on the Riverside (91) Freeway in the Compton area.
The crash was reported around 12:40 a.m. Saturday on the eastbound 91 Freeway west of Acacia Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Michael Fiorillo, 24, of Huntington Beach, and Jadelynn Kwok, 18, of El Monte, died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office and the CHP. Kwok's identity had been released earlier.

The CHP initially said their investigation revealed that the parties were with a group of street racers on the eastbound freeway but later deleted that finding.
Investigators reported that a Honda struck the left side of Fiorillo's Toyota 4-Runner, sending the Toyota into the right dirt shoulder, where it struck a pole.

The Honda driver fled the scene in the vehicle.
