Man Shot To Death In Huntington Beach; Suspect ID'd
A man on probation was arrested in connection with a shooting death in Huntington Beach, authorities said Monday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — A man was shot to death in Huntington Beach this past weekend, with authorities arrested a 28-year-old person of interest.
Police were dispatched at about 2:25 p.m. Sunday in the area of Ash Lane and Mandrell Drive, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.
Arriving officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, police said. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries.

The man's identity was not immediately released.
A 28-year-old man on probation, identified as Luis Angel Mireles, was arrested around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, police said. He was booked on suspicion of murder and a probation violation, police said.
