Orange County Cemetery To Participate In Dia De Los Muertos Celebration
The Dia de los Muertos event will feature folklorico dance, mariachi performances, arts and crafts, and more. Here's what to know.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Four Forest Lawn Cemeteries locations across Southern California, including Cathedral City, will host Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, events in November.
The free, family-friendly event will take place from noon to 3 p.m. on November 2 in Cypress, at 4471 Lincoln Avenue, in Orange County.
Additional locations include Forest Lawn at 82975 Requa Avenue, Coachella Valley, in Covina Hills at 21300 Via Verde Drive, Covina and Glendale at 1712 S. Glendale Avenue in Glendale.

The Dia de los Muertos event will feature folklorico dance, mariachi performances, arts and crafts, food trucks, traditional Catrina sculptures, alebrije (spirit animal) artworks, and community ofrenda (altar) presentations.
"Forest Lawn's lively and colorful Dia de los Muertos events welcome the community to our memorial parks for an authentic Mexican celebration of life," Forest Lawn's Senior Vice President of Marketing, Rodolfo Saenz, said in a statement.

Day of the Dead is celebrated each year, Nov. 1-2, to pay respects to deceased loved ones.
