ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Two people involved in a pursuit in Orange County were taken into custody Thursday night, but not before the reported driver in the chase nuzzled a dog that had been in the vehicle with them, KTLA reported.

Aerial footage obtained by KTLA showed the suspects pulling into a cul-de-sac in the City of Stanton before being surrounded by police, the report said.

After a brief standoff, the passenger exited the vehicle first before surrendering. Moments later, a dog was seen as it stuck its head out of the passenger side window. Before raising his hands to surrender, the man leaned forward and was seen nuzzling the dog, the report said.
