At-Risk Missing Senior Last Seen In Orange County

Authorities are asking for help finding a 74-year-old man last seen Thursday morning in Orange County.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — The California Highway Patrol issued a Silver Alert Friday for an at-risk 74-year-old man last seen in Westminster.

Benjamin Johnson was last seen about 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hoover Street and Brooklawn Drive in Westminster, according to the CHP. As of 5 p.m. Fridaym the CHP still had not reported him found.

Johnson is a 5-foot-10-inch-tall man, who weighs about 175 pounds. He has white hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a brown cap, according to the Westminster Police Department..

Anyone with information regarding Johnson's whereabouts was urged to call 911.

The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
