Three Men Charged In Connection To Trafficking Woman, Girl In Stanton
Orange Counter Sheriff's Investigators say a 21-year-old woman and a girl under the age of 16 worked as prostitutes for the men in Stanton.
SANTA ANA, CA — Three men were charged Thursday in connection with pimping a woman and a girl in Stanton.
Nathaniel Jeriah Cason, 24, Tyrese Gordonmiller, 23, and Shawn Jackson, 19, pleaded not guilty Thursday in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana. They were ordered to return to court for a pretrial hearing on May 13 in the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana.
Sheriff's deputies questioned a 21-year-old woman at Beach Avenue and Main Street on April 29 around 2:45 a.m. because she appeared to be a human trafficking victim, a sheriff's investigator said in court papers.

She said she had been working as a prostitute for about two weeks with her friend, the underage victim in the case, the investigator said.
Cason was allegedly pimping the minor and he and Gordonmiller would take the girl around to prostitute her, the woman told the investigator. Gordonmiller had a gun in the car to assist Jackson or Cason, the woman told the investigator.

The underage victim was working as a prostitute on her own when Cason and Gordonmiller approached her and offered "protection" and lodging in an apartment in exchange for splitting her profits, the woman told the investigator.
Cason is charged with human trafficking of a minor, pimping and pandering for a prostitute younger than 16, all felonies, and faces a sentencing enhancement for committing another offense while out of custody. Cason is also facing a charge of robbery on April 4.
Gordonmiller is charged with human trafficking of a minor, pandering with a minor younger than 16, both felonies, and a misdemeanor count of driving on a suspended license and faces a sentencing enhancement for a secondary offense committed while released from custody.
Gordonmiller is charged in a separate case with the human trafficking of a minor, pandering with a minor over 16, pandering and carrying a loaded unregistered firearm in public, all felonies, and a misdemeanor count of driving on a suspended license.
Jackson is charged with human trafficking, pimping and pandering, all felonies.
