Woman Found Shot To Death In OC Backyard: Police
A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of killing a woman in the backyard of his Orange County home Halloween night.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A woman was found shot to death in the backyard of an Orange County home Halloween night, police said.
Placentia police officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of McCormack Lane for a welfare check at about 7:35 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, and found a woman in the backyard with at least one gunshot wound, according to the Placentia Police Department.
"During the course of the investigation, an adult male resident returned to the scene and was subsequently taken into police custody for the homicide," according to police.

The suspect was identified as Christopher Martinet, 30. According to police, he lived at the home where the woman's body was found.
The victim was not immediately identified by police.
