Woman Hit By 2 Cars While Crossing Street In OC

FULLERTON, CA — A woman was killed while crossing an intersection in Fullerton when two cars crashed, police said Monday.

The crash was reported at about 9 p.m. at Magnolia and Orangethorpe avenues, police said.

A woman was found with serious injuries at the scene and was taken to a nearby hospital, where she later died. Her name was not immediately released.

The woman was walking north from the southeast corner of the intersection against a red light when she was struck by a Nissan Altima, police said. The driver of a Mercedes GL550 also struck the woman, police said.

Investigators do not suspect alcohol or drugs played a part in causing the collision, police said.
