Downed Trees, Power Lines Shut PCH In Pacific Palisades

Authorities responded to downed trees and power lines on Pacific Coast Highway in Pacific Palisades Thursday morning.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Downed power lines and trees shut the northbound State Route 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) at Chautauqua Boulevard and the southbound lanes at Temescal Canyon Road Thursday morning, according tot he California Department of Transportation.

CalTrans responded to the incidents around 10 a.m. Thursday. PCH was still closed in both locations at 12:20 p.m. Thursday with significant traffic in the area.
