Academy Students Meet Local Artist

Students at The Academy at met with Palm Springs artist Shawn Savage this week.

As the visiting artist, Savage presented his artwork to students while creating a painting and explaining his mixed-media technique, according to Tina Maize, the school's elementary admission officer.

The visit was part of the elementary students weekly art studio class, Maize said.
