Car Sought In RivCo Hit-And-Run That Left 1 Injured

Police are looking for a dark-colored sedan involved in a hit-and-run in Desert Hot Springs on Sunday, authorities said.

PALM DESERT, CA — Police Sunday were looking for the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that injured one person near Desert Hot Springs.

The crash occurred just before 11:20 a.m. at Palm Drive and 20th Avenue in an unincorporated area north of Interstate 10, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash, and one person suffered minor injuries and was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center, the CHP reported.

Authorities believe the suspect vehicle is a dark-colored sedan last seen heading north on Palm Drive.

Southern California Edison crews were called to the scene to repair a power pole that was knocked down in the crash.
