Developer Submits Plans To Fix Villa Portofino

Developers of the upscale senior housing project are expected to address the issues of site drainage, pad heights and Portola Avenue improvements related to the project, according to the city.

A long-delayed upscale senior housing project will finally get the upgrades it has been needing for years.

Palm Desert city staff has been working closely with three owners of on the south side of Country Club Drive near Portola Avenue. 

has submitted plans to address several unresolved issues, including site drainage, pad heights, and Portola Avenue improvements related to the project from the previous owner and developer, according to a city of Palm Desert newsletter.

The project will require several months of review by staff and other departments before it is presented to the Planning Commission and City Council for review and approval.
