Local Moms Flock To Consignment Sale
The three-day sale kicked off this morning with gently used and like-new baby and kids items and clothing in Palm Desert.
Dozens of local moms and grandparents lined up early Friday in advance of a three-day kids and maternity consignment sale in Palm Desert.
The Monkey in the Middle Consignment pre-sale kicked off at 9 a.m. and the main sale begins at 10 a.m. Friday, March 9 at 44250 Town Center Way, near the and , in Palm Desert.
Julianna Loya and Brianna Van Lierop organized the sale and encouraged locals to come on by.

“It’s a swap of items for families across the valley. It’s eliminating the waste of material ... When we are done with items, it’s turned around to families who couldn’t afford the items or give them to the charities,” Van Lierop said.
The sale continues on Saturday, March 10 from 12 to 5 p.m. and on Sunday, March 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
