Readers' Choice for a Burger? Daily Grill

Voters selected as Palm Desert's best place for a burger in the that closed Friday morning.

The Daily Grill's Cheeseburger Classic includes a 1/2 pound ground beef topped with double cheddar cheese and served with peanut cole slaw, according to the menu. Another favorite is the Pepper Bacon Burger, which includes 1/2 pound of beef with double cheddar, pepper bacon and 1,000 Island Dressing.

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner from Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Happy Hour starts at $4 and is set for 4 to 6 p.m. daily. Free parking is located behind the restaurant.

The local business received 47 percent of the 200 votes in Palm Desert Patch's burger poll. Coming in second place was with 28 percent support. nudged out and for third place.
