The Living Desert Touts Spring Zoo Mini-Camps in Late March, Early April

Spring ZooCamp fees are $75 per 2-day session for members and $95 per 2-day session for non-members, according to organizers.

The Living Desert is offering spring zoo mini-camps in late March and early April, a spokeswoman for the attraction said Tuesday.

"Parents seeking fun options for their children during the Spring holiday break can enroll their little ones in The Living Desert Zoo’s Spring Mini-Camps," an announcement stated. "The 2-day sessions for kids ages 4-14 begin March 25. Enrollment is now underway."

Each session runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

ZooCampers need to come equipped for outdoor activity with a snack and water bottle each day.

Members: $75 per 2-day session
Non-members: $95 per 2-day session

"ZooCampers will enjoy behind-the scenes tours and animal encounters that offer a unique and exclusive look at the park," Living Desert officials said.

Children can learn about habitats, endangered species, animal propagation, and food chains, organizers said. Each session will be different and parents can enroll children in multiple sessions.

Early registrtation is encouraged, as ZooCamp sessions frequently sell out.
