Tour Goes Inside Palm Desert Art Scene

After 32 years of living in the Coachella Valley, it is no surprise that Richard Alamda has the inside scoop on local happenings.

He's putting that knowledge to good use in his company, Desert Art Tours, which provides upscale fine art tours throughout the Coachella Valley.

"This business I started is to create a bridge for the vibrant art scene here and the huge tourism industry that exists in the Coachella Valley," Almada said.

He added that tours can include local museums as well as the many fine art galleries and artists studios that extend from Palm Desert to Palm Springs.

There are six tours on the menu and some excursions can include a luncheon at , Spencers on the Mountain, or LeVellauris.
