Santa Claus Is Coming To Rancho Palos Verdes. Here’s Where And When
All children are welcome to come chat with Santa.
RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — Get ready: Santa Claus is coming to town, with an escort.
“Santa Claus is trading in his sleigh bells for sirens” as Lomita Sheriff’s Station deputies help him make his way through a number of cities, including Rancho Palos Verdes, from Dec. 5 through Dec. 19, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Santa will spend four nights in Rancho Palos Verdes.

“Keep an eye (and ear!) out — you might just spot Santa and his helpers spreading holiday cheer throughout our community,” deputies said.
All children are welcome to come chat with Santa and get a candy cane, city officials said.

A sheriff vehicle will be ahead of Santa’s sleigh, announcing his arrival, according to the city. There will also be “Santa Stops Here” signs posted along his route.
Here is Santa’s schedule:
- Thursday, Dec. 11, from 5:20 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Santa will visit Toscanini Drive, Mt. Streets and Caddington Drive.
- Saturday, Dec. 13, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- The jolly man in red will head to Dianora Drive, Floweridge Drive, Sea Raven Drive, Admirable Drive, Stalwart Drive and Dauntless Drive
- Monday, Dec. 15, from 5:15 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Santa's sleigh is headed to Tarrasa Drive, Montereina Drive and Velez Drive
- Tuesday, Dec. 16, from 5:20 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Santa's final stops in the city include Jaybrook Drive, MacArthur Street, Noble View Drive, Crestwood Street, Enrose Avenue, General Street and Bernice Drive
If the event is canceled due to weather, there will be no makeup days.
