Police Searching For Daylight Home Invasion Suspect
Police are looking for a man who was interrupted by a homeowner while trying to burglarize a Hercules residence Monday morning.

HERCULES, CA- Police are looking for a man who was interrupted by a homeowner while trying to burglarize a Hercules residence Monday morning, according to police.
Officers were initially dispatched at 10:12 a.m. Monday to a report of a residential burglary in progress in the 1500 block of Swallow Way, according to police.
The caller reported that an unknown man came into her house a short time before but had fled. The woman was upstairs when she heard her front door being open, police said. As she checked on the sound, she confronted the suspect in her stairway.

The suspect ran back out of the front door and officers did not find him during an area search, police said. Police described him as a white man in his early 20s who stands at 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds.
