Pleasant Hill Stabbing: Skateboarder Hospitalized After Attack

A skateboarder was attacked and stabbed Wednesday night by three people who fled in a white 4-door vehicle, Pleasant Hill Police say.

PLEASANT HILL, CA -- A skateboarder was attacked and stabbed Wednesday night by three people who fled in a vehicle, according to Pleasant Hill Police.

The incident occurred near Putnam Blvd. & Oak Park Blvd. around 10:30pm, according to PHPD. Police, after receiving 911 calls about a stabbing that had occurred in the area, investigated and found that a group of young adults were skateboarding in the area when a suspect vehicle drove by twice, throwing eggs at them.

The victim in the case threw something back at the suspect vehicle, at which time the three occupants exited the car and chased after the victim. The victim was then attacked and stabbed several times, sustaining serious injuries. The victim was eventually taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspect vehicle is described as an older model white Toyota Corolla 4-door or similar vehicle with a damaged windshield.

Police are asking that anyone living on Putnam Blvd. who has security cameras on the exterior of your home or business, to call PHPD detectives at (925) 288-4600.
