Robin Williams Remembered on Anniversary of Death
Hashtag #RobinWilliams was trending on Twitter as fans and Hollywood miss the beloved actor and comedian.

Itβs hard to imagine that a year has already passed, but Tuesday marked the one year anniversary of Robin Williamβs death.
The day his body was found was one of shock and grief for fans. But as more details emerged in the ensuing days, a measured dialogue was opened about chronic illness, depression and suicide. It was only after his death that his family revealed that Williams suffered from Parkinsonβs disease.

His widow Susan Schneider released a statement soon after his death, βRobinβs sobriety was intact and he was brave as he struggled with his own battles of depression, anxiety as well as early stages of Parkinsonβs disease, which he was not yet ready to share publicly.β
In June, the California legislature voted to rename the Waldo Tunnel in Marin County the Robin Williams Tunnel.

The anniversary was marked by many in Hollywood, who took to social media.
