If you drive on Jones Road during the day, you will notice there are no parking meters on this road.
Why:
- The official employee parking lot for Stead Motors and other car dealers.
- A storage lot for the rental cars on the weekends. Free parking for the guests of the Marriott Hotel.
You will notice that all other streets have meters and time restrictions but not on this road. I have asked the city many times to clean up the road, add a sidewalk on the BART side, but no response from them.
