4 Teens Arrested On Suspicion Of Robbing Pleasanton Man, Latest In String Of Violent Teen Crimes
Four teens from Stockton were arrested and accused of using force to rob a Pleasanton man at the Pleasanton Tennis and Community Park.
PLEASANTON, CA — A Pleasanton man was robbed by a group of 12-15-year-olds as he got off a bus Monday, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.
A Pleasanton resident was getting off a bus Monday afternoon when he noticed a group of teenagers following him off the bus and into the Pleasanton Tennis and Community Park, police said in a statement. The group quickly approached the man and demanded his cell phone and belongings, then used physical force to steal the items. They then fled into a nearby residential community.
With the help of the East Bay Regional Park District Police Department, Pleasanton police quickly detained four suspects near Shenandoah Court. The suspects, four juveniles ages 12-15 from Stockton, were arrested and booked into the Alameda County Juvenile Justice Center.

The victim sustained minor injuries, and his property was recovered.
This follows a string of teen robberies in the Tri-Valley. On Monday, two 19-year-olds, two 18-year-olds, and a 17-year-old were arrested in connection with an armed smash and grab at Heller Jewelers at City Center in San Ramon.

In July, a 12-year-old and 17-year-old were arrested on suspicion of committing numerous robberies at various ATMs around Pleasanton.
In June, a 12-year-old boy, 14-year-old girl, and 15-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of smashing the front windows of cars parked overnight in downtown Livermore and stealing items inside. Police say at least 49 incidents of car burglaries or vandalism took place.
