2 Firefighters Injured In Livermore House Fire

The one-alarm fire, which sent large volume of smoke to the air in the neighborhood​, was reported at 3 a.m.

LIVERMORE, CA -- Two firefighters were injured Saturday morning after battling a house fire in Livermore house caught on fire early Saturday morning. The one-alarm fire, which sent large volume of smoke to the air in the neighborhood, was reported at 3 a.m. on the 900 block of Mocho Street, according to the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department.

Four engines and one truck responded to the fire, which engulfed the exterior of the home and the back bedroom and living area. The home sustained major smoke, fire and water damage, officials said in a press release.

Two firefighters sustained minor steam burns and were treated at Stanford Valley Care MedicalCenter. Both firefighters returned to service without lost time, officials said.

No one was inside of the home during the fire.
