64 Grams Of Fentanyl Uncovered In Pleasanton: Cops

Police say they uncovered weapons and drugs from a couple Saturday.

PLEASANTON, CA — A couple was arrested in Pleasanton on charges of possessing over 64 grams of fentanyl and other contraband, the Pleasanton Police Department said.

On Saturday at around 9:45 a.m., Pleasanton officers spotted a suspicious vehicle at a local gas station. When approached, the couple claimed they were in town to pick up doughnuts. The woman admitted to being on probation, and said that her companion had drugs on him. Officers say they recovered approximately 64 grams of fentanyl, brass knuckles, and other drugs paraphernalia. Both were arrested.
