Suspicious activity was reported by a Pleasanton resident, police said.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Police Department said it arrested two people after recovering more than 1.5 pounds of meth.
Police did not name the individuals arrested in a Tuesday morning Facebook post announcing the arrest, but said the amount of meth confiscated was equivalent to about 7,600 doses of the drug.
A Livermore Police Department K-9 unit was involved in the arrest, which came after a resident noticed suspicious activity and called police, Pleasanton police said.
