Volunteers can “Adopt a Senior” for Christmas
To give seniors in the Tri-Valley a more cheerful Christmas, volunteers can help by providing gift bags for our senior citizens. For the past several years, community groups, churches and individuals have made gift bags which were delivered to them, bringing Christmas cheer to many who are often lonely at this season of the year.
CityServe of the Tri-Valley, who provides many services for the elderly, has compiled a list of nearly 200 seniors who would benefit from a home visit and a Christmas gift bag, they need thoughtfulness and a loving visit.

As we celebrate the Christmas season, let’s all remember our own seniors, our parents, grandparents, neighbors, and friends, they helped build our nation and created a legacy for us and our children. Visit them and bring cheer to their Christmas season.
CityServe serves seniors who need help with support, counseling, transportation, wellness and care coordination. For more information, see: cityservecares.org/seniors
